About the Students with Disabilities Advanced Certificate
Medaille's advanced certificate in special education in Buffalo, NY is designed for students who hold a master’s degree and are eligible for certification. Clinical Experiences & Practica
This exciting opportunity allows students the ability to learn through a hands-on experience with the support and mentorship of classroom teachers and college instructors.
Fieldwork:
All students enrolled in the Advanced Certificate - Students with Disabilities program are required to complete a minimum of 50 field experience hours. These field experience hours are embedded over two courses and must be completed prior to the end of the program.
Students with Disabilities Practicum Courses:
Students in Advanced Certification in Students with Disabilities program must complete a college-supervised practicum course each semester. The practica are usually held on-site in a school building after school hours.
