How to Apply

Medaille College takes a highly individual approach in making decisions about admission to the College.  We take the time to learn your personal story as we value having students of diverse backgrounds at the College.   At Medaille you will have a student-centered environment with relevant real world experiences – both in the classroom and the surrounding community—that will lead you to your future.  Medaille is where college meets career.


Admissions Requirements

  1. Medaille College Online Application (no fee to apply)

  2. Official high school transcripts or GED with scores

  3. SAT or ACT score (SAT code=2422; ACT code=2822)

  4. FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) if you wish to apply for financial aid

Rolling Admission
Medaille College has rolling admissions where acceptances are offered on an ongoing basis until the class is filled. You will be notified of a decision within two weeks of completing the application. To maximize your eligibility for grants and scholarships it is in your best interest to apply early in your senior year.

Conversations with the Admissions Team
We want to get to know you as an individual, and the best way to do this is for us to sit down and have a conversation. We encourage you to schedule a time to meet with us. Appointments can be arranged Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm and Saturday from 10am to 3pm. These can also be conducted via Skype or phone if you cannot come to Buffalo. Visiting our beautiful, tree-lined campus is one of the best ways to discover if Medaille is the best fit for you. We lie in the heart of a vibrant city but offer the quaint setting you expect of a private, liberal arts college. The Undergraduate Admissions Office hosts events and visit opportunities through the year. We can’t wait to see you on campus!



The Admissions Interview is an important part of the college decision process. Convenient times are available to meet the needs of all prospective students.

  • Interviews are scheduled Monday – Thursday from 9 am to 6 pm and Friday from 9 am to 4 pm
  • Personal tours are scheduled every hour on the hour Monday – Thursday from 9 am to 6 pm and Friday from 9 am to 4 pm
  • Saturday interviews and appointments are available from September through May on the hour from 9 am to 4 pm

Special visit events exclusively for prospective student-athletes. Hosted by the Medaille College Athletic Department, guests will tour the campus with a current student athlete, learn about our winning Division III athletic programs and meet with a coach in their sport of choice.

These events are limited to 20 families per day.

Medaille rewards students for academic commitment and success. We offer a variety of competitive scholarships for both freshmen and transfer students.

There are a number of academic and merit-based scholarships available to Medaille students who qualify. First time freshmen are eligible for up to $80,000, over four years, to help pay for their education. There are also a number of institutional scholarships and awards for continuing students.

Financial Aid

Medaille believes that no one should be denied the opportunity for a college education due to financial hardships. Our Financial Aid Office works with you to create an individualized plan to help pay for your education.
