Where do immigrants and refugees fit into the landscape in Western New York?  What is the economic impact of immigrants and refugees and what are the economic consequences to decisions surrounding immigration?
Join Eva Hassett, Executive Director of the International Institute of Buffalo, for a night of conversation addressing the economic impact of immigration on Western New York.  Her talk will focus on looking at the benefits of integrating refugees and immigrants into our community.  The discussion will include the economic consequences of immigration decisions and the benefits of introducing immigrants into the culture of the community, including their contributions to the workforce, in taxes and their social value to the area.  The discussion will conclude with a question and answer session.
