Kicking off the Buffalo theatre season is the cult-classic novel made into a cult-classic film made into a cult-classic musical theater piece as Kaleidoscope Theatre in association with American Rep Theater of WNY presents CARRIE, THE MUSICAL. From the mind of Stephen King to the movie directorial eyes of Brian DePalma to the music creativity of Michael Gore, this story of a ugly-ducking-turned-prom-queen who sees this dream turn into a "night we'll never forget".

Directed by WNY acting, directing and producing veteran Christopher Standart with Michael Hake as the music director, this presentation has an outstanding ensemble and a great design team.

If you are a big fan of Stephen King, the 1976 cult-classic film or musical theater that your mother wouldn't approve, then CARRIE, THE MUSICAL is for you!
