Commencement 2020

For the originally scheduled Commencement ceremonies that were to take place on May 15th, the College has confirmed a rescheduled date with Kleinhans for the evening of Monday, November 30, 2020. Please hold this date and share with your families!

At the present time, Commencement is postponed;

With the College not holding commencement ceremonies in May and planning to communicate new plans when they are determined, can students get refunds for their graduation regalia?

Students may contact Herff-Jones at 1-800-837-4235.  They have assured us they have a system set-up for this.  Students may wish to wait to determine the College’s future plans prior to requesting a refund for graduation regalia.

The Office of the Registrar is responsible for reviewing and conferring degrees and for printing diplomas.

All students MUST apply for graduation through Medaille 360. Failure to do so by the published deadline (March 1, 2020) could result in a delay of diploma and/or graduation conferral date.  View graduation application instructions

If you do not apply, we will not know you are ready to graduate and will not review your program or confer your degree.

Certificate Students

Students applying for a certificate, will follow the same process of applying for graduation as degree seeking students. The fee for applying for a certificate is $10.00.  View certificate application instructions

Diplomas are mailed out approximately four to six weeks after each conferral date.

Diplomas are mailed to the address indicated on each graduate's graduation application. If your address changes between the time you apply for graduation and when your degree is conferred, please contact the Registrar's Office immediately so that your diploma is mailed to the right place.

  • Diplomas will be mailed once all financial, academic, and student affairs holds are resolved

Should your diploma arrive damaged, contact the Registrar's Office immediately.

Students who have lost their diploma may order a replacement. Medaille College does not issue "extra" diplomas. We will only issue a replacement if the diploma is lost, damaged, or stolen. Please use the Diploma Reorder Form to request a replacement.

Commencement Ceremony

Medaille College's annual commencement ceremony is a time for celebration and recognition of accomplishment. It is held in May of each year.

Students must have an active graduation application to participate. All students who intend to participate in their graduation ceremony must wear the appropriate academic regalia.
