About Dr. Courtney McQuoid:

Courtney McQuoid, Ed.D. joined the Medaille faculty in the Department of Graduate Counseling and Psychology in 2010. She earned her master's degree in mental health counseling and her Ed.D. in counseling and counseling education at the University of Rochester. She is a clinical assistant professor and the clinical internship coordinator in Medaille's Rochester Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program and is in private practice where she has been for over six years providing counseling services for adolescents, young professionals and adults. Many clients have said, "Courtney, you're not like any other therapist I have ever had before...I love it!" Dr. McQuoid is unique in her approach by offering a combination of coaching, motivation, problem-solving and goal formation.

She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in  New York and holds the National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) certifications from the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).
