Faculty Blackboard (Bb) Mentor Help Program

Hello Everyone-

I’d like to formally introduce you to our Faculty Blackboard (Bb) Mentor Help Program.

A special thanks to our colleagues listed below who have been volunteering as Bb mentors. They have agreed to continue supporting the Medaille College community as we teach in our virtual campus.

How will this work?  We ask you to follow this procedure:

1.  Go to the Medaille IT Help website page
Review the instructor and student videos (http://it.medaille.edu/blackboard-videos)
as well as the direction sheets (http://it.medaille.edu/blackboardtrainingdocs) to learn about the tool you are using.  Blackboard Help is a fantastic resource as well (https://help.blackboard.com/) .  There is a section just for instructors and your students with directions and videos.  Reviewing these recourses is likely to answer your question(s).  Blackboard also has a YouTube channel with lots of great videos for instructors and students(https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLontYaReEU1tzu1T5gfiX-JQA5nBc3isN & https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLontYaReEU1seUE3ACG3sEc3zR7Br7URU)

2.  Check in with your department Bb mentors.

They are familiar with your department needs and requirements (see chart below).  Please note: Bb mentors are willing to assist any instructor who contacts them.

3.  The E-Learning Team is always here to assist!

Contact us at elearning@medaille.edu for Bb course needs and helpdesk@medaille.edu or call 716.880.2282 for other technology needs.
