Support students through scholarships.

Over 90% of undergraduate students at Medaille receive some type of need-based or merit-based scholarship support, and a significant portion of the funds raised by Medaille College are directed to new and existing scholarships. Annually, Medaille distributes over $10,000,000 in institutional aid.

For our undergraduate students, this means that their dream of receiving a college education becomes a reality.

Our adult students face an even larger challenge, as income from full-time employment often disqualifies many students from receiving traditional aid packages. Endowed scholarship funds for adult learners make it possible for Medaille to assist more people in our community, as they work to improve their lives through higher education.

This academic year, thanks to the generous support of others, Medaille was able to award over 66 endowed scholarships.

Scholarships to Support

Establish a New Scholarship at Medaille
There are three very flexible ways to establish scholarship funds.

  1. Endowed Scholarship - A gift (minimum $25,000) to be invested with scholarship monies distributed on the fund’s interest, or donations can be made over a period of years to establish a fully-endowed scholarship. Until the funding minimum is reached, disbursements would be made with an additional donation that would pass through to the student beneficiary in the spirit in which the scholarship is established.
  2. Multiple Years Scholarship - A gift (of any size) to be given as scholarship repeated as often as the donor desires and will then be retired.
  3. One Time Scholarship - A one-time gift (of any size) to be given as scholarship in the year the gift is given.
