About Maryanne Misso

Maryanne earned her bachelor’s degree from Buffalo State College and worked as an educator of children with special needs until she began her journey at Medaille College in the late 1990’s. Maryanne graduated with her AS in Veterinary Technology and began her career working in small animal practice. Throughout her career, she took on supervisory roles and became proficient at assisting practices with regulatory matters. In addition, she accepted a position as a web administrator and as the NY liaison for a national veterinary management group.
Maryanne continued her time at Medaille in August 2010 when she was hired as a veterinary technician to assist in labs. In spring 2011, in addition to her role as a lab assistant, Maryanne became adjunct faculty. Ultimately, in 2015, she was hired as a full-time faculty member. Maryanne still continues in small animal practice doing relief work.

Maryanne’s passion for veterinary medicine is what inspires her to help students excel as veterinary technicians.
