
2022 Medaille Graduates Walk the Stage & Celebrate Their Achievements at Undergraduate & Graduate Commencement Ceremony

On May 12, hundreds of Medaille College graduates walked the stage and accepted their diplomas at the 2022 Undergraduate & Graduate Commencement Ceremony, as friends, family, and Medaille faculty and staff assembled at Kleinhans Music Hall to celebrate. The evening marked the first full commencement ceremony since 2019, due to COVID-19 restrictions in 2020 and 2021, and the proceedings included the conferral of associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.
Criminal justice (B.S.) graduate Shayla Slomba ’22 provided the undergraduate student address, and Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MAOL) graduate and communication (B.S.) alumnus Antione Holmes ’21, ’22 provided the graduate student address. Additionally, Vice President for Student Development Amy DeKay ’95 presented the Sister Alice M. Huber Collegiate Award to criminal justice (B.S.) graduate Ga’Vintay McGhee, in recognition of his leadership and contribution to the Medaille community during his time as a student.
After all of the degree conferrals, Alumni Association Board of Directors President Bryan Krempa ’00 ’06 officially welcomed the Class of 2022 to the Medaille alumni family.
