Dr. Klostermann Receives Outstanding Professional Award From the Maryland Counseling Association

Internationally recognized behavioral couples therapy expert and Fulbright Specialist Keith Klostermann, Ph.D., LMFT, LMHC, an associate professor in the Department of Social Sciences, Communication & Sport Studies, has been selected as the recipient of the 2020 Outstanding Professional Award from the Maryland Counseling Association (MCA). The MCA carries out a mission to promote public confidence and trust in the counseling profession, and to influence policies that affect professional counselors and the welfare of the diverse clients they serve.

Previously this year, Dr. Klostermann was also selected as the recipient of the 2020 Dr. Linda Seligman Counselor Educator of the Year Award, a national honor given out by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) in recognition of outstanding humanitarian service to others.
