Medaille College’s Founders Day 2017 Celebration, presented by Delaware North and Phillips Lytle LLP, was held at Hotel Henry Urban Resort Conference Center inside the newly renovated and historic Richardson Olmsted Complex on June 1. Thanks to the generosity of corporate partners, as well as loyal and new supporters, Founders Day 2017 surpassed its goal to the benefit of even more hard-working and deserving students.
Board of Trustees member and alumna Marge Kafka ’90 contributed to the evening’s success by serving as event chair. Medaille alumna Adriana Viverette-Gamble '12, a Townsquare Media radio personality known as “The Go Getta,” served as the evening’s emcee.
Medaille President Dr. Ken Macur, Board of Trustees Chair Chuck Moran (of Delaware North) and Board of Trustees member Ken Manning (of Phillips Lytle LLP) presented remarks to welcome and thank the attendees and contributors. A chance auction drawing for five prestigious packages closed out the evening’s formal proceedings.
Founders Day, Medaille’s annual fundraising event, honors the spirit and values of Medaille’s founders by supporting student opportunities. For visual highlights, check out pictures from the Buffalo News photo gallery.
