Role with the Board of Directors: Chair, Service Team

Why do you stay connected to Medaille? Because Dr J. said it was “my college.” Even though I graduated years ago in the stone ages, it is still my college. I like being associated with successful leaders like Dr. J and the Alumni Board.

What do you enjoy most about being a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors? The dialogue that takes place during and after meetings, the friendships that have been created and helping Medaille students become successful Western New Yorkers.

What professor or class at Medaille stands out as a favorite, or as one that had a great impact? “Rife” Dick Rifenburg – he made sure our internships were genuine professional experiences.

What advice would you give to a current student? Enjoy the ride, build your network now. People you meet today while in college will be there for you 30 years from now helping you along in your career.

What recent Buffalo development are you most excited about? Silo City, Riverworks, and HarborCenter.

Last book you read: 26 years of the Sabres in the Auditorium by Ross Brewitt

Personal motto: “There’s a reason why God gave you two ears and one mouth.”

My favorite holiday is: Opening day of baseball season

Growing up, I wanted to be: a Buffalo Sabre

For the best wings in Buffalo, I go to: Pasquales in East Aurora or West Seneca
