Out of the Darkness Walk

Posted by Medaille College Office of Communications

Nick LaMarca and wife MaureenJoin me, Nick LaMarca an adjunct instructor with the Clinical Mental Health Program, and a quarter of a million people from hundreds of cities across all 50 states to raise awareness and funds that will save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.  The core of the Out of the Darkness Walks, the Community Walks, has created a movement and has helped give people the courage to open up about their own struggle or loss, and the platform to change our culture’s approach to mental health.  Join me at 9:30AM, Saturday, September 8th at Delaware Park at the registration table.  The Walk registration begins at 8:30 AM or can be done at https://afsp.donordrive.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.event&eventID=5325.  Walk steps off at 10:30 AM.  There is no registration fee or fund raising minimum.  Come join me and our fellow walkers to bring awareness to this important event!  I am looking forward to walking with all of you!  You can reach me at nl46@medaille.edu with any questions.  Nick LaMarca and my beautiful wife Maureen
