Commencement 2019 Collage
On May 17, Medaille College’s 2019 graduates walked the stage and accepted their diplomas at the College’s graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies, as friends, family, and Medaille faculty and staff assembled at Kleinhans Music Hall to celebrate. The undergraduate class of 2019 included 421 graduates receiving either their associate or bachelor’s degree, while 397 students received their master’s or doctoral degree at the graduate commencement ceremony.
Lana D. Benatovich, president of the National Federation for Just Communities of Western New York, was the keynote speaker at the graduate ceremony, during which Native American Community Services of Erie and Niagara Counties Executive Director Michael N. Martin received an honorary degree. The undergraduate ceremony featured keynote speaker Barbara Seals Never gold, Ph.D., president of the Buffalo Board of Education, with a student address from communication program graduate Andrew Parks ’19. New York State Senator Tim Kennedy received an honorary degree.
