Clinical Mental Health Counseling Students and Faculty Participate in New York State Lobby Day

CMHC Students and Program Director in Albany
Some of Medaille College's clinical mental health counseling (CMHC) students, along with Clinical Assistant Professor and Program Director Helena Boersma, Ed.D., LMHC, recently participated in New York State Lobby Day. The group joined over 50 peers from across the state to lobby for changes in the state licensure bill, meeting with senators and assembly members who represent many districts. The CMHC students and faculty advocating for their profession is just one example of how civic engagement is a big part of the Medaille College mission
