College Colors Day Is September 5 — Here’s What You Need to Know

September 5 is College Colors Day, a special day that celebrates the Medaille community, made up of students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends. This year also marks the 50th anniversary of Medaille, so it is an opportunity to recognize the past, present and future of the College.

Students, faculty and staff are asked to wear blue and yellow, and are encouraged to stop by the Sullivan Center between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for fun activities, treats and giveaways. There will be a raffle for students with several gift card prizes. Activities include free Perry’s ice cream at 12:15 p.m. in the Sullivan Center and a T-shirt giveaway at 12:45 p.m. in front of the Main Building (while supplies last), followed by a campus photo on the front steps of Main.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Medaille Pride Awards Social and Athletic Hall of Fame Induction in the Events Arena at 5 p.m. on September 5. The ceremony includes the presentation of alumni and other awards.

Enter our #MedaillePride photo contest that day by taking a selfie, using #CollegeColorsDay and tagging @MedailleCollege on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. (Individual and group prizes available!) Or show your school spirit by signing up to serve as a social media ambassador.
