Dr. Ramsey Invited to Present on Teaching Critical Thinking Skills at the 2019 Networking in Higher Education Conference
Assistant Professor of the Practice in Developmental Education in Medaille College's Department of Interdisciplinary Studies James Louis Ramsey, Ph.D., has been selected to speak at the 2019 Networking in Higher Education Conference: Building Bridges for a Better Tomorrow. Dr. Ramsey will present his research and lead a workshop entitled “Teaching Critical Thinking Skills in the Urban College Classroom: A Demonstration.” The theme of the conference, which will be held on June 21, is about defining 21st century activism through education, and it aims to address critical issues facing college students, with an emphasis on underrepresented students.
Medaille’s annual MAVstravaganza party was held at the Curtiss Hotel on June 6, and brought the Western New York community together to benefit hard-working and deserving students.
