Education Graduates Presented with Dr. Correa at Conference

On Thursday, October 16 Elizabeth Marciano '14 and Jessica Rinebold '14 presented with Dr. Elaine Correa, associate professor in the Division of Education, at the New York State Association of Teacher Education (NYSATE) and the New York Association for Colleges of Teacher Education (NYACTE) conference.

The presentation of their paper, entitled "No Teacher Left Behind. Challenges to Teaching What We Don't Know to Students We Don't Understand" was well received by colleagues.

The participants in the session included a number of academic deans, keynote speakers and award recipients who expressed their interest and appreciation for the critical review of technology integration that was presented as a means for effective engagement of student learning.  The demonstration of new technologies and how these technologies can be utilized by faculty and students in this interactive presentation provided participants with alternative options when using technology in classroom teaching.

Marciano and Rinebold graduated form Medaille's Rochester Campus this May. Congratulations to both for demonstrating a high level of professionalism and expertise in their first academic presentation.
