Mavericks Claim Second Straight Buffalo Cup Title
For the second straight year, Medaille College has claimed the Buffalo Cup. The competition between Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) rivals Medaille, Hilbert College and D’Youville College began during the 2016-17 school year. Medaille took the inaugural title with 27 victories over the 12 sports all three institutions sponsor. Year two saw the Mavericks win a close race, with 18 victories to Hilbert’s 17. D’Youville came in third place with 10 wins.
Lindsay MacKay ’17, a graduate of Medaille ‘s M.S.Ed. (Master of Science in Education), literacy program, puts the skills she learned at Medaille to use each day.
Medaille professor Dr. Keith Klostermann has been approached to develop a TED-Ed talk.
