Medaille Professor Appointed to the NYS Council for Exceptional Children Executive Board

Colleen Wilkinson, Ph.D., an assistant professor in Medaille's Department of Education, has been appointed to the New York State Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) Executive Board in the role of student advisor for NYS student chapters of CEC. She will engage in student recruitment efforts across New York for the professional organization with a mission of “advancing the success of children with exceptionalities.” Dr. Wilkinson will also take the lead in planning for student events at the yearly NYS CEC conference, including student presentations and student-interest panels.
