Medaille Professor Discusses Region’s Evolving MBA Programs in Buffalo Business First
Susan C. Steffan, head of Medaille’s Division of Management and Leadership and a clinical assistant professor at the College, offered her insight on Western New York’s evolving master’s of business administration (MBA) programs to Buffalo Business First, and explained how Medaille’s MBA program offers students a unique advantage.
“Students have a great desire, more than ever, to make sure what they’re learning is very practical and can be applied quickly,” Steffan told Business First. “The core of the degree has in some ways stayed the same, but what we’re experiencing is changes in content and delivery.”
As Steffan explained, Medaille’s MBA program features a significant online component, allowing students the flexibility many working adults need. In addition, the program prepares students for professional success by emphasizing “soft skills” such as writing, public speaking and email etiquette.
