Medaille Professor Presents at International Conference on Learning in Greece
Medaille associate professor Vochita Mihai, Ph.D., recently presented on “Meaningful Teaching and Learning: MyStatLab and StatCrunch” at the 25th International Conference on Learning at the University of Athens in Greece. The annual conference features leaders in the field and emerging scholars from around the world.
Dr. Mihai’s presentation examined the paradigm shift that has occurred in teaching and learning, and its effects on institutions of higher learning.
Dr. Mihai is chair of Medaille’s Department of Science, Mathematics & Technology. She has taught at the College since 2005.
Dr. Lori Quigley addressed women's rights and recognition at two recent community events, in addition to recently being recognized as a “Woman in Leadership” honoree herself.
Literacy Education Program Director Dr. Jennifer Reichenberg recently collaborated to publish an article entitled “'When Your Lesson is Bombing': The Mediation of Perplexity in the Development of a Reflective Stance Toward Teaching” in the Teaching and Teacher Education journal.
