Medaille Sports Complex Now Taking Reservations for Spring 2019
The newly developed Medaille Sports Complex, located at 427 Elk St. in Buffalo, is set to serve as the home of the Medaille College Mavericks men’s and women’s soccer and lacrosse programs, starting this spring. The Sports Complex will also be open for community use as of April 1, 2019, and rental inquiries are now being accepted.
The Medaille Sports Complex features a state-of-the-art outdoor athletic turf field that is lined for soccer, lacrosse and field hockey, and also contains sideline hash marks for football. Additionally, a 20,000-square foot Athletics Administration Building includes locker rooms, fitness facilities, classrooms / meeting space, concessions space and storage. On-site parking is available.
The community rental rate is $125 per hour for peak times, and rental options are based on availability.

Medaille Partners With Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications to Offer New Opportunities to Communication StudentsMedaille has signed three agreements with the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University — a 4+1 program, a 3+1 program and a 30% scholarship agreement — that will take effect immediately and will create new opportunities for communication students.

This June, Associate Professor of English Dr. Alice Villaseñor participated in the “Activism and Empathy” Children’s Literature Association Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana, speaking about her experiences teaching children’s literature courses in partnership with the Buffalo City Mission’s Literacy and Enrichment After-School Program (LEAP) Program.
Living out community as one of Medaille's core values, College administration, faculty and staff members gave back to the WNY community by volunteering at local organizations as part of 2019 Day of Service events held in Buffalo and Rochester.
