WNY Celebrates Student Opportunities at Medaille’s 2018 MAVstravaganza Party
Medaille College’s 2018 MAVstravaganza party, an annual event in support of student opportunities at the College, was held at the Curtiss Hotel on June 7. Delaware North and Phillips Lytle LLP were the presenting sponsors of MAVstrav, which brought together faculty, staff, alumni, students and friends from the Western New York community. Guests enjoyed one of Buffalo’s best views from the Curtiss’s rooftop patio, along with an evening of food, cocktails and entertainment, all to benefit hard-working and deserving students.
Among the highlights was the recognition of Trustees Marge Kafka ’90 and Juanita K. Hunter, Ed.D. as members of the College’s Heritage Council, which honors those who have demonstrated exemplary service and support to further the Medaille mission.
MAVstravaganza co-chairs Kafka and fellow Trustee William H. Pearce, Jr. welcomed guests to the event, which was emceed by radio personality and alumna Adriana Viverette-Gamble ’12.
