Submit Your News

The Office of College Relations depends on news and information from our faculty, staff, students and alumni to help promote the College to media and other promotional outlets. We are particularly interested in hearing about:

  • Student achievements
  • Faculty research, publications or professional accomplishments
  • Departmental or program news
  • Commentary on current events
  • Commentary on trends
  • Community events, media outlets, online opportunities and creative ideas through which the College can promote our people and programs.

Please consider the following tips when submitting your news information.

  • Make your submission as complete as possible. Include full names, job titles, class years, degree information, dates, times, locations, registration information, and all other details that a reporter might request.
  • If this is for an upcoming event that is open to the public, allow for enough lead-time to promote the event, which in most cases is several weeks to several months in advance of the event.
  • Think visually. What photos or video content could go along with your story?
  • What news angles should we consider? Think like a reporter, and consider how your news could tie into a local, regional or national trend or current event.
  • Your information will be edited for style (see the Medaille Style Guide). In most instances, you will have the chance to review the final piece for accuracy before it is distributed.

The following form is designed for Medaille's faculty, staff, students, groups, alumni and affiliated organizations.

Please select the opportunities you would like the Office of College Relations to consider when publicizing your news.
By submitting this form, you confirm that the information above is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge, and give permission to Medaille College to use this information for news and promotional purposes.
