A retired special agent with more than 25 years of field experience as a homeland security investigations supervisory criminal investigator, Aida Teresa (“Tere”) Silva now teaches such courses as International Legal Systems and Systems of International Terrorism in the homeland security (HLS) program at Medaille.
Medaille College clinical assistant professor Steve MacMartin ’13 and a panel of local experts discussed how to plan for a disaster during an event at Medaille’s Buffalo campus on February 8. MacMartin, the director of Medaille’s bachelor’s degree program in homeland security and a recently retired Senior Special Agent/National Program Manager with the U.S.
Medaille’s Program of the Month (POTM) series launched this November, shining a spotlight on students, faculty and alumni from the College’s English (B.A.) program. Taken together, November’s POTM features demonstrated how an English degree is an entryway to a multitude of careers.
