This afternoon, dignitaries of Buffalo public service, law enforcement and the media came together to celebrate the 10th Annual Medaille College Media Awards. The ceremony is a chance each year to honor individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to our internship program and community, and to extend a special thank you to everyone who has helped make the program a success.

Scumaci & Drechsel Present at WNY Blackboard User Group Conference

Mary Beth Scumaci, clinical assistant professor in the Division of Education, and Ray Drechsel, instructional technology specialist at Medaille presented at the Western New York Blackboard User Group Conference (WNYUGC) on Wednesday, October 17 at Hilbert College. The conference, supported by Blackboard (Bb), drew attendees from colleges and universities across Western New York.

Education Graduates Presented with Dr. Correa at Conference

On Thursday, October 16 Elizabeth Marciano '14 and Jessica Rinebold '14 presented with Dr. Elaine Correa, associate professor in the Division of Education, at the New York State Association of Teacher Education (NYSATE) and the New York Association for Colleges of Teacher Education (NYACTE) conference.

The presentation of their paper, entitled "No Teacher Left Behind. Challenges to Teaching What We Don't Know to Students We Don't Understand" was well received by colleagues.

On Friday, August 15 and Monday, August 18 Lou Pozantides '86, clinical associate professor in the Communication Department, will appear on WBBZ-TV's game show, Bragging Rights, as a guest score keeper. In additional to serving as the guest score keeper, Pozantides will talk about Medaille's communication program and Greekfest.
