In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, Medaille College hosted a presentation by Rick Hill on November 19 exploring how the Great Law of Peace of the Haudenosaunee (Six Nations) influenced the Founding Fathers, Karl Marx and the Women’s Suffragette Movement. This presentation, sponsored by the Medaille College Office of Diversity and Inclusion, examined how Indigenous thought and philosophy impacted the minds of these leaders of social change. Medaille College is proud to be a collaborating sponsor for the fourth annual Western New York Children’s Book Expo (WNYCBE), which will be held at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 10. Medaille joins Read to Succeed Buffalo and Monkey See, Monkey Do … Children’s Bookstore in supporting the WNYCBE, along with presenting sponsor BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York.
Perry S. Nicholas, a local poet and educator who has published eight books of original poetry, is the first speaker of Medaille’s 2018-19 Write Thing Reading Series. The event will take place on the fourth floor of the Main Building at 7 p.m. on October 4.
On September 20, Medaille's Office of Diversity & Inclusion presented a panel discussion on "Building Strong Communities Through Diversity and Inclusion." Medaille College Director of Diversity and Inclusion Kenya Hobbs led panelists in a conversation on how we can all build stronger communities through diversity and inclusion at Medaille, in Buffalo and beyond.

Students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends came together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Medaille College on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, in conjunction with Medaille’s third annual College Colors Day event.
September 5 is College Colors Day, a special day that celebrates the Medaille community, made up of students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends. This year also marks the 50th anniversary of Medaille, so it is an opportunity to recognize the past, present and future of the College.
The first Medaille Summer Theatre (MST) Camp concluded on July 27 with a memorable final performance. Running from July 9-27, the camp gave young theatre artists between the ages of 12 and 17 the chance to create and produce their own original plays.
Medaille College faculty and staff teamed up to make a difference in the community at the annual Medaille Day of Service on July 12 in Buffalo and July 13 in Rochester. College employees tackled projects at several locations in Western New York, including the Black Rock/Riverside Alliance in Buffalo and Seneca Park Zoo in Rochester.
One of the most unique summer camp experiences happening this year in Western New York is the Medaille Summer Theatre (MST) Camp.
