Introducing Medaille University

On May 17, the New York State Education Department Board of Regents approved an amendment to Medaille’s charter to make the institution a university, effectively immediately. Medaille has begun to launch its transition to Medaille University, with more formal celebrations and unveilings planned for the fall, when the 2022-23 academic year begins.

The Medaille College Board of Trustees has elected Lawrence Hatcher to a four-year term, after a unanimous vote of all board members. He will serve as a trustee for the College from 2022 to 2026.
